Technical FAQ
What counts as a "Sensor"?
One active Host Node (VM or Bare Metal) running the sandboxed deception stack. The license covers the full containerized stack in total isolation from your host OS. You can route as many subnets (e.g., /16) to that single host as its CPU/RAM can handle.
Does it phone home?
No. The entire stack runs 100% within your perimeter. Zero external dependencies.
What happens if my license expires?
Your deception grid remains fully operational—defense continues without interruption. Telemetry uploads will pause until renewed. Renewal is automatic upon updating the Central Services license; no sensor restarts required.
How many sensors do I need?
One per isolated network segment (e.g., per VPC, Datacenter, or Security Zone). You can route unlimited traffic/IPs to a single sensor; topology is the only constraint.
Is it safe for production?
Yes. It runs in a hermetic network sandbox, physically isolated from your production workload. It engages threats actively but safely, architected to prevent lateral movement or interference with legitimate traffic.
